TWO MENU MODE WITH POWER BUTTON

   HOW TO ENTER : With power outlet plugged, keep pressed RESET, than press POWER, and keep it. Leave RESET while keep POWER. Then press for "n" time again RESET to access to one of the two menu. Leave POWER. Now printer should enter in desidered Service Mode.

  • x1 RESET
    RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM : Yes, Normal mode
    PRINTER : on-line and working (so I believe)
    SCANNER : mode1 and mode3 on-line doesn't work, mode2 disable
    LED : Power always lit, all others led vary from software
    MENU DESCRIPTION : This menu is similar to the number 6 of the "Seven Menu Service Mode". It enter in "Only Printer mode", without scanner (to verify).

  • x2 RESET
    RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM : No, Service Mode
    PRINTER : no
    SCANNER : no
    LED : Alarm Lamp blinking x5 then some delay, and so on.
    MENU DESCRIPTION : Even this is similar to the number 2 of the "Seven Menu Service Mode". If you open the printer, Alarm Lamp blinking stop, the ink tank move for substitution. If you press Power with Printer opened, it take some time to move and clean ink, then shout off.
    Seems that in this menu you should be able to Reset the Ink level of your printer (take a look at this page for the solution)



TWO MENU MODE WITH COLOR BUTTONS

   HOW TO ENTER : Unplug power outlet. Keep pressed RESET+BLACK or RESET+COLOR then plug-in power outlet. Printer will enter in the choosed Service Mode.

  • RESET+BLACK
    RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM : Yes , Normal
    PRINTER : on-line , doesn't work
    SCANNER : mode1 and mode3 on-line , doesn't work
    LED : Alarm Led stay ON for some second, then OFF for a very short time, and so on
    MENU DESCRIPTION : Unknowed. Probably in this Service Mode you can take rid of all the error (Reset mode?).

  • RESET+COLOR
    RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM : Yes , Normal
    PRINTER : on-line , doesn't work
    SCANNER : mode1 and mode3 on-line , doesn't work
    LED : Alarm Led stay ON for some second, then OFF for a very short time, and so on
    MENU DESCRIPTION : Unknowed. Probably in this Service Mode you can take rid of all the error (Reset mode?).


CONCLUSION

   All material that you have found on this pages is only a work of some hour. I unable to continue with testing because I need to return the printer.

   From this moment, the only thing that I could do is to public this three page and to leave all the experiments to you guys! If you found a working way to Reset the Errors or you found other Service Menu, keep we update with a comment on the form below.
